Day 1 - Red Nails; OPI - Hip Hop Holly

Day 1 - Red Nails

OPI - Hip Hop Holly

I don't usually wear red nails, so I'm already happy that this challenge is bringing me out of my normal comfort zone. Hip Hop Holly is one of my favorite reds. Mainly because my name is Holly, but also because for me it's a happy medium between too bright and too vampy dark.

It only needs two coats for full coverage and has a nice smooth glossy finish.

And even though it's just red nails day I decided to add a coat of Zoya - Kissy. This is from the Gems & Jewels collection. I never got around to posting swatches from this collection, so hopefully I'll be able to throw in some more during this challenge :)

Zoya - Kissy
Kissy is a red glitter and silver-ish/holo-ish bar glitter polish. Does that make sense?? I'm not sure if the bars are pigmented or if they just pick up the red glitter around them. Either way I love this polish. :) Along with the rest of the collection.

So that's day one!

Be sure to check out the others challenge posts!!

South Wind, Clear Sky

I think it turned out pretty well :)
