Today's post is butter LONDON's - Victoriana. Yayy. I love butter LONDON. 

This polish is amazing. 

"A textured twinkling vintage blue pale and slightly smoky. Things reminiscent of the Victorian era, such as corsets, top hats and Syphilis." - butter LONDON

It really does have a twinkle to it. It says it is textured, but it has a pretty smooth finish.

Orly - Shine On Crazy Diamond

Because Shatter and a silver stripe wasn’t enough I decided to add Orly’s Shine On Crazy Diamond to the butter LONDON Lady Muck. 

butter LONDON - Lady Muck & OPI - Black Shatter

This is butter LONDON’s Lady Muck with OPI Black Shatter. I used tape for this manicure and a silver striper. 

NOTE: The OPI Shatter tends to corrode the tape. When you peel it off your nail it will break and you have little tape fragments left on your nail if you are not careful. I would suggest having tweezers close by!

butter LONDON - Lady Muck

This is butter LONDON’s Lady Muck. butter LONDON describes it as a Powdery periwinkle blue, slightly on the grey side and infused with pearl pigment for a soft, sexy sheen. I have a love/hate relationship with this polish. The color is gorgeous, but the application sucks. I guess the polish takes after the name.. Muck. It was streaky and thick, but it dried okay? If that makes sense. I just found it really difficult to apply an even coat. 

I actually emailed butter LONDON asking about it and they said “Regarding the application of Teddy Girl nail lacquer, depending on the lacquer colour the lacquer may have different consistence. For example, white is the heaviest pigment meaning lacquers white based like Teddy Girl may have a thicker constancy” So even though they got the name of the polish wrong, I think it remains true for Lady Muck. It looks white based? Either way it’s a pretty color, just a tricky application. They also offered to replace the polish, but shipping was not included and $8 is a little too expensive for one polish. I may as well just go buy a new one when ULTA is having a sale.

butter LONDON haul

Well this isn't really a haul, but when it comes to butter LONDON it is in my eyes.

It literally took me like 20 minutes to pick these out. I was just staring at the display and then I'd go over to my friends and ask if I should take the plunge and then back to drool. So I put back all the other polishes I was going to get, and bought these three instead.

I also bought decorating scissors from A.C. Moore and used a zig zag pattern for the manicure above.
