Day 20 - Water Marble

Here is Day 20 water marble. I used OPI Strangers Tides, Go On Green and The Color To Watch.  It ended up a bit lighter than marbles I usually do.

I did a tutorial on marbling a while back, but here is the link if you would like to follow it!

Check out what the other girls did if you have not seen yet!

Essence Hello Holo Special Effects Topper

Essence Special Effects Topper in Hello Holo

Holy Sparkles. I ordered this polish on ebay and couldn't wait to try it so I used it as an accent nail. I love it. This was either one or two coats of Hello Holo. The application was great and not too thick. It dried really quickly as well!

Matted Stranger Tides & Trophy Wife

Essie Matte About You is my favorite ever.

Essie - Trophy Wife & OPI - Stranger Tides

For this manicure I used 2 coats of Trophy Wife and then a thin coat of Seche Vite. Then I used decorating scissors to cut tape to make the zig zag pattern and put a coat of Stranger Tides. Reversing the colors for my ring finger.

Stranger Tides has a great application. It only took one coat for full opacity over Trophy Wife, but for my accent nail I used two just to be on the safe side. Trophy Wife also has a really nice application. I love Essie polishes.

These scissors worked great for the design! I picked up an 8 pack not too long ago from A.C. Moore I can't wait to try others!

Has anyone else tried using decorating scissors for their manicures?
