Born Pretty Store Review

Hi Readers!

Back in December I ordered a few things from Born Pretty Store.  I just wanted to give a quick review of the products I bought and of the company!

I wish I had gotten this post up sooner, but I just found it in my drafts folder :(

I can't say enough how much I love this company. They have inexpensive products and amazing customer service.

Since I've waited so long I've had the opportunity to use basically everything I've ordered and haven't had a problem with anything. 

First Order:

• 16 piece Stamping Plates [$18.48]
• 15 piece Nail Art Brush Set [$4.74]
• 3X Rhinestone Wheels with 4X Nail Glue [$12.24]
• Stamper/Scraper [$3.03]

The stamp templates have been great! I only had a problem with one where the pattern wasn't engraved deep enough but it still works for the most part. The other 19 plates are great! I'd say 1 out of 20 isn't bad. The stamper has worked perfectly and much like any other stamper you could buy online. 

I love the brush set. I use all of them for my nail art and they are pretty good quality for such an inexpensive price. I just clean them with nail polish and they have held up well.

 I haven't used the tips much, but did practice galaxy nails on them. They are a bit long for my taste so I used the files I bought to trim them down. The files aren't pictured.

Overall, this company is great. I love the products and customer service is unlike any other. They are quick to respond with any questions and concerns!

Latest Haul

Finally finished transferring my Tumblr posts. So from here on it will be new posts :)

I was on the hunt for Revlon Whimsical and it was sold out EVERYWHERE. I literally went to 10 different stores, so instead I got all these polishes. A lot of them were on sale and I found coupons in the mail so that was exciting.

 I was so in love with Blue Wants to be a Millionaire that I went back to get Hannah Pinktana. But then I saw all these other pretty colors and got them all. I couldn't resist.

So I actually bought all of these polishes at ShopRite. I was really excited to see they had Matte About You in stock! I can never find it anywhere. They were pretty much stocked on all of the brands they carried.

Can't wait to post some pictures of these polishes!

butter LONDON haul

Well this isn't really a haul, but when it comes to butter LONDON it is in my eyes.

It literally took me like 20 minutes to pick these out. I was just staring at the display and then I'd go over to my friends and ask if I should take the plunge and then back to drool. So I put back all the other polishes I was going to get, and bought these three instead.

I also bought decorating scissors from A.C. Moore and used a zig zag pattern for the manicure above.

Eyes Lips Face Haul

I always do this... Vow to not spend any money until something ambiguous happens and then BOOM! I get an email saying there is a sale or free shipping or I break a nail and think a dozen new nail polishes will make me feel better. Well, in all fairness, new nail polish does make me feel better, but my bank account disagrees.

At least e.l.f.'s polishes are only $2 so it's not like I was breaking my already broken bank. Honestly I had no choice other than to buy them, if I didn't who would?! We can't just let them sit in storage all alone...

These polishes aren't bad for $2. Some of them have a pretty pungent smell which sucks, but my room constantly smells of acetone and nail polish so I'm sure no one will notice the difference. I will say that the swatches and photos of the bottles on the website are seriously misguiding. For the most part they are just lighter than reality, but still.

The nail polish remover pads are great! They are citrus scented which is nice if you're around people sensitive to the harsh smell of regular remover. I probably used 3 to remove polish from all my nails. This is an expensive alternative to buying a bottle of remover, but if you are on the go and like to keep something on hand this is great. My only suggestion would be to wash your hands afterwards, they left my fingers feeling almost oily. I don't know if it was remover residue or if they are infused with cuticle oil? Who knows, but I wasn't a huge fan.

The cuticle oil pen is nice. I just throw it in my purse and use it when my cuticles are feeling dry.

e.l.f. cosmetics are sold at participating Target's, but the nail polish line (from my experience) is exclusively sold online.
